Buried in this list are the required steps: (1) pull off the orange stuff; (2) roll gently side to side to spread toner--the usual for any toner cartridge. Nothing went wrong. No mess to clean up. The cartridge is working fine. The onscreen supply level correctly read 100% at first and has now dropped to about 97%. Print quality remains excellent. I intend to order a four-color pack from the same source when one of the cartridges runs low again.
