(More customer reviews)I've tried to save money on toner replacements by buying remanufactured toners. Occasionally they work fine, but one was missing parts, one had a dead spot on the drum, one left spots on the paper, and one came with a thick, messy coat of toner powder all over it. Never had a problem with an original Samsung cartridge and I won't waste any more time with the refills. Product works great, and the 1-star deduction is because the cartridge is, well, kind of pricey.

It is not OEM but an alternate cartridge manufactured for Universal Brand (P/N UNV 83150) by some unknown manufacturer (it is not noted on box or instructions who makes it.) Although the cartridge looks fine and does not appear to be a refill I am uncertain of the pedigree. It may be fine or it may not work out. Time will tell. Hope the description of the cartridge under the seller "Restock It" gets changed so the buyer knows exactly what they are getting.

(More customer reviews)This cartridge works as advertised. I've had it last a full 450 pages - the cartridge is easy to replace - the cartridge is quick to replace (unless you're an engineer and feel that you have to study the entire mechanism).
The quality produced exceeds ink jet, and based on the material I send and receive it's quicker than ink jet.
I just can't find a down side here.

(More customer reviews)I use these at work, for Ricoh / Lanier printers and corporate-grade multifunction machines.Generally, the performance, cost per page, and service contracts are pretty good. The systems work as advertised, but duty cycles tend to be over-stated.
My primary negative is recycling these. There is no recycling label in the box to return ship (like most big vendors do with Toner).
If you have existing or new rules about disposal of these things, keep that in mind before you buy.
Sometimes, I feel like we are "stockpiling trash" until we can find a safe(safer) way to dispose of this legally.This is not convenient, and is definitely a deal breaker for me.
I won't sign any future contracts for lease or purchasing - unless the vendors guarantee a path for recycling. I don't even mind paying a little extra, or for postage.

(More customer reviews)So far so good. Vendor and product have been very reliable. I can not see any difference in print color or quality from the OEM.
Have only on a rare occasion had an error come up. Never difficult to clear and has not cost the loss of toner or print job. The job might be interupped. This has happened perhaps 6 or 8 times in the last 8 months. I print 1000 to 2500 sheets per month, ussually 20 pages per print job or less.
I am extremely pleased when compared to the ridiculous price of toners from DEll.
Also I might add that the Dell 2130cn has been a work-horse and great piece of equipment for my home office ($250.00 from Dell Business direct).

As a "refurbished" printer cartridge, it was not correctly chipped or coded to the type of printer specified in the order. I expect a complete refund but am not holding my breath.
