(More customer reviews)When toner is low on the CLP-315 printer, you are notified that the toner is low. When the drum needs replacement, the printer stops working with no warning. I could not find a drum locally. This meant several days without use of the printer.
Like toner, the drum is pricey. I was able to purchase a refurbished printer, with toner and drum, for $99--substantially less than the price of the drum unit alone.
