The crispness of the print quality seems to be darn close to the HP cartridge -- maybe at about 90-95%. I haven't had the cartridge long, and have done minimal printing, so I can't speak to the longevity or page-count of this cartridge's toner. I typically get 3000-3500 pages out of the equivalent HP cartridge, at about 5 times the cost. I'll be satisfied with 1500-2000 pages, thrilled with anything that exceeds 2500.
The cartridge sounds like it needs some sort of lubrication, though, as it makes a squealing, almost-grinding kind of noise during printing some times. (that's the 4 star instead of 5 star rating.)
