(More customer reviews)I have a Brothers HL4070 - when you replace the cartridge, you need a replacement that has clips - because this is designed to reset the toner levels. Without these clips, the printer will not work.
I got some replacement cartridges from others and they did not have the clips - so, they are no good -and there is no way to manually reset the toner levels on this printer. If you buy the OEM toner, and install it, this will reset the levels - and then you can use the ones from her - but, you have now damaged the OEM resets as they are designed to break off once installed.
Fortunately, cartridges from here had the clips and worked.
