(More customer reviews)I print a lot of coupons, so not only do I go through a lot of ink, I also need ink that prints clearly so my coupons scan correctly at the store. I was a little wary of trying this ink because of how cheap it was, but figured "why not?"
Upon putting the ink in my printer, I ran a cleaning cycle just as a precaution followed by a test page. The blue ink was completely clogged. I had to run 3-4 cleaning cycles before it printed cleanly. After that, however, I didn't have problems until the black ink got low. (I usually print using the best quality setting so I don't have problems with my coupons at the store.) Once the black ink was low, I started noticing many more stray marks across the page, even after running a cleaning cycle. I just replaced the black ink cartridge, though, and every thing seems fine again.
Don't expect this ink to be as high quality as the Canon ink you can buy at the store. It won't be. And if you need to print important documents, I would recommend splurging on something better. For my purposes, though, this ink has done the job at a price that just can't be beat, and I can usually deal with a few stray marks here and there.
Edit: The first two black cartridges and both color cartridges worked wonderfully. The other three black cartridges will not print in high enough quality no matter how many cleaning cycles I run. Still a good price, but somewhat disappointing.
