(More customer reviews)There are not many 4:3 aspect ratio (1600x1200) monitors with IPS panels left. The LG L2000CP is one of only a few - next to the NEC LCD2090UXI, the LaCie 320 and the Eizo L997. In my opinion, the LG offers the best bang for the buck. True, the LG suffers a little bit of banding problems on a greyscale and it doesn't offer USB connectors and speakers. But color accuracy, viewing angle and build quality are rock solid. Also true, Apple monitors look nicer but regarding panel quality most of the Apple monitors are no match for the L2000CP. Forget Apple for serious image work - those days are long gone and over. I have two L2000CP's netx to my NEC and I am very happy with them. And for only 450 bucks each, you can't beat that price (the other 1600x1200 IPS panel monitors cost 900 to 1500 bucks).
