(More customer reviews)We still haven't had an opportunity to try out the toner cartridges that came with this order, but the new drum went into the printer instantly. And it's been working perfectly. No, there's one caveat on that: the "drum" light on the printer periodically flickers, perhaps because the printer knows we haven't used a genuine Brother-brand drum. But a flickering light causes me no grief, and the clean, crisply printed pages coming out are a delight. If we hadn't found these affordable drums, I think it likely we would have trashed the printer. At the office supply store Brother replacement drums are something like $180. That's nearly what we paid for the (refurbished) printer in the first place. This is the second drum we've bought from these folks, and the first one -- like this one so far -- proved a terrific value.
