(More customer reviews)This is an excellent all-around printer for those who aren't too demanding in their choice of quality printers. It's perfect for the average family person who just needs the convenience and ease of printing what was shot with the digital camera over the weekend. Don't get me wrong - the output of the final results are quite impressive (especially now that it's under $60), but for those who have a more demanding eye for perfection and need more 'professional' results, this may not be the printer for you. For instance, I was originally going to purchase the new iP6700D which is touted as an ideal printer for the digital SLR user, with higher resolution and number of nozzles compared to the iP6310D. However, if you don't want the hassle of changing and maintaining 6 individual ink tanks at approximately $14 apiece, this iP6310D is probably the route you want to take, as it only has two inkjet tanks (approx $25 apiece) to worry about, yet has the 6 colors (3 grouped in each tank) like some of the more costly models.
Overall, I'm really satisfied with this printer, especially for the price, and the quality of the printed product. My only tip is, use the "Vivid Photo" option under printer settings to get more vibrant color.
