(More customer reviews)I've ordered the same five-pack about three times in the last two years. It's a great value: the single cartridge at Staples, manufactured by HP, is $78 today. HP cautions against using other manufacturers' cartridges because of print quality, and claims it's actually more costly to use the non-standard part because you'll have to throw out nonperforming cartridges.
In my experience, I've only had one of 15 cartridges print so poorly and erratically that I needed to throw it out. Print quality isn't always perfect, but it's adequate for the job (I'm an attorney, and I file many court documents printed with these cartridges).
Do the math: 14 performing cartridges for $170 or less this way; 14 cartridges from Staples for $7,000 or more. No contest.
