(More customer reviews)Received this toner cartridge for HP LaserJet P3005dn Printer today. The genuine toner cartridge has two IC chips on the cartridge, which are probably to identify that it is a genuine one from HP. This product is Q7551X compatible from Verbatim, and there was no customer's review on Amazon yet, nor any comment on the compatible printer list. I wasn't confident about the compatibility, so I checked Verbatim's webpage and found they listed P3005 series as compatible printers.
When I installed this toner cartridge, the printer recognized it as a genuine one and prints nicely without any complaints. I printed and compared the test pages from Linux with fine patterns, and the amount of aliasing in the fine patterns is the same as that from the genuine one with my bare eyes.
I don't know the long term reliability/performance yet. Verbatim claims a page yield of 13,000 which is the same as what the HP one can produce. If so, this is a good buy for the same print quality at half the price.
I will post more about the long term usage after a few months.
