(More customer reviews)This has been the worst customer service I have ever received from any third party Amazon supplier. Let me first state the Amazon was extremely helpful throughout the entire situation, and I will continue to buy through them because of this.
But Gigablockshop is a festival of idiots. They can't write or speak coherent English, they don't read your e-mails, they don't have any interest in satisfying customer concerns, and, on top of it all, they sell a crappy product.
This CIS, over a period of about two weeks, due to a bad seal, entirely drained the magenta cartridge through the HP 500's pump station and into the printer's chassis. Along the way, the ink contaminated the ink level contacts, causing them to short out and burn up. I had to buy an entire new ink pump station.
When I tried to return the system, they insisted that it be packed up in its original packaging, exactly as it had been received. Anyone who knows anything about continuous ink systems knows that you can never completely remove all the ink from the system once it has been charged, so it was impossible to pack it the way they wanted. You can't tell me they didn't know that. Also, they gave me a return authorization number, and once they received the system back they insisted that they had never authorized its return in the first place.
I can prove all of this if anyone is interested. They NEVER refunded the cost of the system, much less compensation for the damage done to my machine. Amazon, to its credit, did all that and more. If Amazon is as smart as I think they are, they will drop this seller like a hot rock.
