(More customer reviews)Back in the "golden days" of durable laser printers which lasted forever, LOTS of companies were using standardized cartridges. This one (92295A) was probably used in 100 different brands/models.
(These days, of course, printer companies have realized they can almost give away the printer if people pay inflated prices for ink and toner. So of course, each company & model have a different/unique sized cartridge. This is intentional & impractical on every level except greed - in fact, it makes for more expensive tooling during the design & manufacture process. And, newer laser are faster, but don't last nearly as long. My very first HP laser printer only prints 4 pages per minute, but is still a workhorse 20 years later! But I digress...)
Anyway, one company lists this cartridge as a 4,000 page yield - another as a 6,000 page yield. Not sure which is accurate, or how they measure ... but either way, this is a high-yield black toner for your older laser printer. It is a generic cartridge (does *not* say HP on it). It works on Apple LaserWriters, ALPS LPX1000, Berthold Laser printers, Brother HL-series, Canon Laser 811/Plus/R/T/SX/LBP, Canon Laser Fax L-series, DEC Laser Printers (many models), HP Laserjet 2/2D/3/3D, Kodak Kims Laser Printers, NEC Laser Silentwriter series, and more...
