(More customer reviews)I have been rather discouraged and dismayed that this particular model of Koss Headphones are becoming a bit difficult to find. I am on my second set now (My wife's little destructive monster of a Boston terrier decided to climb on my desk and dismantled my first pair in about 60 seconds flat), and I would most certainly be dismayed if they have discontinued this line.
I like these headphones for a number of reasons. First, the sound quality is quite good considering what you pay for them. Second, they are light, easy to adjust and extremely comfortable. Third, I like the volume control on the lead wire. Forth, they are extremely inexpensive and it does not cost an arm and a leg to replace them with Tigger the Destroyer decides he wants to make a statement as to my presents in his life.
These headphones fit all of the gadgets I have in the house...stereo, boom-box, computer and portable CD and DVD Players. I can listen to my music, read or nap and not bother the other members of my family...including the dogs.
The leatherette ear cushions are extremely comfortable and there is absolutely no sound leakage while at the same time cuts out all outside noise (including barking dogs) quite well. The adjustable headband is easy to use and again, extremely comfortable. I would like a slightly longer cord (four feet), but hey, you cannot have everything at this price.
Are there better headsets out there? You bet. But at the asking price versus my particular needs (I am not a fanatic about items such as this and do not demand perfection, they are perfect.
I listen to a lot of books on CDs and these are perfect for that.
