Using this toner to refill my own cartridges has saved me a ton of money.
At the same time I have to admit that as the drum wears out the prints degrade (over many refills and prints). But when a refill is under ten bucks and a new cartridge is over eighty bucks, I don't mind compromising on the print quality.
At some point I go get the cartridge refilled for around $40 at Cartridge World and they put in a new drum and I'm good to go through several refill cycles.
It's a real pleasure being able to make laser prints without much consideration for the cost of the toner.
I would recommend adding the toner to a cartridge outdoors until you feel confident about doing it, as toner can wind up getting "poofed" out if you inadvertently squeeze the toner bottle while dispensing the toner into the cartridge. Spilled toner is no big deal on the grass, but it's a real mess indoors. I've done all my refills outdoors and I'm glad I did.
Also, remember to put in the new fuse (nicely supplied with the refill bottles) when adding the toner.
