I purchased this as a replacement for my 5 year old HL-1240, which was running perfectly with the old toner cartridge. The pages were printing grey, so I ordered this as a replacement.
Now the printer throws all kinds of errors and the toner cartridge needs to be removed and put back in for it to print.
I've learned my lesson: don't buy off-brand toner cartridges.
