(More customer reviews)Product arrived within a few days of order and packaging was good. No instructions were included in the box. Product quality is poor. Not sure if this is a remanufactured product or a China built copy. It appears a low grade of PC drum was used in the manufacturing process. Uneven toner distribution and a series of small dots down one side of page. This is the first non-original toner cartridge I have used in a brand new HP printer and the result is unsatisfactory.
I will not buy this brand again. Not worth the savings.

(More customer reviews)I can see no reason that Canon charges so much for the replacement toner cartridges and drum. I paid $600 for a printer 18 months ago and since then have spent that much replacing the drum and the toner cartridges. Also, Canon has some 'chip' in the cartridge that when it is low throws out an 'alarm' and will not let you print in color-is that cheesy or what?

When installed it left a wide streak of dry toner down the length of the printed page. Although disspointed in receiving a defective product, I was very pleased with receiving a full refund including the shipping cost. Thank you Amazon for the great customer service.

(More customer reviews)I bought this a while back when my HL-5250DN printer kept telling me it needed toner (but still printed another 1000 pages or so) so just got around to installing this "high-capacity" toner cartridge. The first few pages printed after replacement were almost completely black. I've never had this happen with a toner replacement, but figured it might need to print a bit more to clean up the output. After over 200 pages with this cartridge it is still producing black pages. It also started curling pages which this printer hasn't done in over 7000 pages of printing. Hope it hasn't damaged my drum as well. Switching back to Brother branded toner cartriges.

(More customer reviews)I thought I'd be smart and buy less expensive cartridges for my HP Color LaserJet. I thought that rather than buy a no-name, off-brand I'd go with Xerox thinking I could trust the quality. I was wrong on all counts. I bought the magenta and the yellow cartridges. The yellow cartridge I purchased is defective, but because I don't use the printer often (though when I do it's for very important, big jobs) I didn't realize the cartridge was not working properly until well after the return window had closed. Without proper yellow saturation, all of my documents, including those that are supposed to be plain black text are purple. Legal contracts in purple. Cute. Almost $90 for a defective cartridge. Not cute.

However, when the order was filled, it was filled with a "compatible" toner cartridge. I paid extra thinking that I was getting an actual Brother toner cartridge. A phone call to Abacus was handled politely, but they claim that the ad represents it as "compatible". It does not.
