(More customer reviews)Over the years I've had good luck refilling toner for various printers & copiers. However, I've had problems with refills for the scx-4725fn. The Laser Tek is the second product I've tried and it had even worse print quality (way too light) than the first one.
For those who don't know, the reset chip acts like a "counter" that limits the amount of copies possible. So, when it zeroes out, even if there is toner left it will not work until the chip is replaced. The reset chips are not the issue here and are not too difficult to replace (a little care must be used to ground yourself by touching something metal so as to eliminate static charge prior to handling the chip.)
I don't know if there is a proper toner refill product out there but a generic cartridge I used (not one sold on Amazon) worked well for only slightly more money. Amazon has a 2 pack generic cartridge that is basically the same price as this product (on a per item basis), but I cannot vouch for it. Whatever you do stay away from this Laser Tek kit.
