(More customer reviews)I had been using a cartridge whose print quality was degrading, though it had not run out of toner. My alternative was to buy a new printer since this one was over 5 years old. But the print quality of this replacement cartridge was no better than that of my old cartridge; the edges of the letters are not crisp. Yet at the bargain price of this unit I felt that I could justify 3 stars. I'm now considering getting a new printer for applications where quality matters, and using this cartridge with my old printer for items for which the inferior quality is acceptable. I have been using this replacement cartridge for only about 5 weeks now, and have gotten several hundred pages out of it. If the yield is anywhere near the claimed 5000 pages it will have been a good choice.
