(More customer reviews)The printhead works as expected and there is a noticeable improvement in printed output. Now I need to consider replacing the other 3 printheads, which tend to show some horizontal banding instead of producing a solid color bar during the HP cleaning/test page routines. Despite multiple cleaning cycles the banding isn't rectified, a condition worsened by intermittent use. Printhead replacement is rather expensive, especially for a D145 with less than 1000 printed pages, although it is an aging 3-year-old unit. A full set of printheads and one set of ink cartridges is half the cost of a whole new MFP, so instead of replacing printheads, maybe I'll bite the bullet the next time it's up for new ink...
