(More customer reviews)The Lexmark package was the same as what I've been using on my printer and what is recommended. However, when I inserted a new black cartridge, the printer would not work and a message appeared "replace cartridge". I could not figure out why it would not work. On close inspection, I noticed on the bottom of the cartridge it had a different letter and number stamped into it than what I was using on the printer. For whatever reason, even though the package was correct, the printer would not accept this cartridge. I returned it for full credit, minus the original shipping cost. Even though the price was better than buying locally, the experience was frustrating and time consuming; plus I had to pay nearly $8 for shipping.
