(More customer reviews)I was a long time Epson user, but I got really annoyed with the way Epson printers stall to clear the print heads (which clog frequently). HP doesn't seem to have that problem; perhaps because the printhead gets changed every time you replace the ink cartridge.
I use the printer with both Mac OS X and Windows (I run both on my MacBook Pro). No installation issues on either platform. It's quick, the output looks great, it handles envelopes just fine, and the price is right. Happy camper.
By the way, if you're office is cramped (like mine) don't let the depth dimension scare you - you can fold the paper tray up out of the way when it's not printing, and it takes up about 8".
