She prints out tax returns in our home office. One of our printers is a HP 2420d. We have always used genuine HP cartridges. Last June when ordering, I came across a positive review of this compatible cartridge from 4inkjets. Because of the huge price difference, we concluded that it was worth a try. So far, performance in the same as the genuine HP cartridge! In fact, the machine reports that it is a genuine hp cartridge. 4inkjets says that they include a new smartchip which allows the printer to interact and track toner. Today, we ordered another one of these.
